Trading Journal & Daily Loss Limit is a Chrome extension that keeps a manual trading journal and enforces the daily profit goal, loss limit and trade count you set.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no account system and no servers.

What is stored

Only your own settings (bank, limits, language) and the trade journal you enter (time, stake, result, optional note). They are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and never leave it. You can delete everything from the History page at any time.

Network

The extension makes no network requests of its own. No analytics, no remote code, no third-party services. This website has no analytics either.

Permissions

storage — saves your settings and journal locally.
scripting and optional site access — shows the floating panel and the STOP screen only on the sites you explicitly enable ("Enable panel on this site"). No page content is read or sent anywhere.
activeTab — reads the current tab's address to offer enabling the panel for that site.
alarms — rolls the journal over to a new day and refreshes the toolbar badge.

Financial disclaimer

The extension is a discipline and record-keeping tool. It does not give trading signals or advice and does not connect to any broker.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
